Valpoi , Goa

Valpoi is a village situated in the Sattari taluka that has rocky hills and a dense forest. It gets its name from two words Val and Poi out of which Val means river and Poi means other side.

Valpoi is famous as the Police Training Service (PTS) Centre of Goa is situated here. During the Portuguese rule it was a military camp and in 1962 it was transformed into a Police Training School. There is also the Forest Training School in Valpoi which is the only school in Goa that caters to the demands of the forest guards and trains them to safeguard the natural resources of Goa.

Rajgad Fort, Maharashtra

Rajgad trek is the most beautiful trek in Maharashtra. As the name suggests it is the king of forts. Because of the rich history and the mesmerizing architecture of the fort, it stands out among other forts in western ghats. 

It is situated at an altitude of 4,514 ft near Pune. This fort was built on the hill Murumb Devacha Dongar having a diameter of about 40 km. The huge size of the fort made it difficult to lay siege on it which helped Marathas to make strategic decisions. 

Mizoram, India

Mizoram, state of India. It is located in the northeastern part of the country and is bounded by Myanmar (Burma) to the east and south and Bangladesh to the west and by the states of Tripura to the northwest, Assam to the north, and Manipur to the northeast. Taj Mahal ( wonder of the world)

The colour combination of lush green scape reddish pathway and blue sky over it show cases the monument in ever changing tints and moods. The relief work in marble and inlay with precious and semi precious stones make it a monument apart. 

Kanatal, Uttarakhand

Saint Thiruvalluvar Statue

Standing on a 38 feet high pedestal, the gigantic statue of Saint Thiruvalluvar is another popular attraction of a Kanyakumari tour. This statue was built by the Tamil Nadu Government, in the honor of Saint Thiruvalluvar who is undeniably one of the greatest Tamil poets and philosophers.

This statue of Saint Thiruvalluvar represents great historical significance as well as it is symbolic of great teaching of Saint Thiruvalluvar. This sky touching statue amid the vast spread of ocean and spiritual atmosphere symbolises prosperity and pleasures can be earned and enjoyed when the base of virtue is solid and strong.

900 Kandi or thollayiram Kandi in Wayanad literally means 900 acres, which hold wild trees, beautiful waterfalls, blood sucking leeches and a rough & tough road. These roads are safe only with a powerful cruiser bike or Jeep.

900 Kandi is purely for youngsters and trekkers and that’s because of the location this place is situated. This less explored 900 Kandi started attracting so many backpackers and trekkers in the recent time following a series of viral Instagram pictures of it
